“ Marcus was very helpful and made my dinning experience memorable! He was very professional and knowledgeable of the menu- he was accommodating of my numerous special requests. The soup of the day (coconut, mushroom, and ginger) was unique- I would try it again! Recommending all menu items with high esteem- definitely coming back!!! Doing a triple back flip!!! ”
“ Don’t let this location being in a hotel deter you. We did stay at this hotel for a week, and the hotel was great but the restaurant is what really shines. It’s been a month since we got back and I still can’t stop thinking about the food we got there. Executive Chef Mathew Viereck came out and talked about the inspiration behind the dishes and was simply amazing. During our stay I think we are the entire breakfast menu and multiple dinners. Our waitress Kimi was always tentative and super friendly! A We will be back next year and will definitely stay at the hotel again just to make sure we are as close as possible to the food! The elk, the fish, everything really was cooked to perfection and I don’t even like pistachio but the carrot cake with pistachio ice-cream was still so amazing. Can’t wait to be back. ”
“ One of my favorite places to eat. I would have to say the cowboy pops are my favorite. My food is always beautifully displayed and tastes delicious. During breakfast Kimi was very sweet and knowledgeable about what is going on in the area. During dinner services Jean Paul, Drew, and Wayne where very courteous and professional in their tasks. We even got a special serve from chef Matthew himself! Its a wonderful place for a cozy breakfast or dinner. Sitting next to the fire is one of our favorite spots. The only bad point I would make is the tables where scratched up a little and the decor around the dinning room was sparse. ”

“ I'm visit at Jackson Hole on Mid February 2025 ,The weather was so (Super) cold but I'm choose the cozy Hotel..that's are inside it have the resraurant too.. "The Whistling Grizzly " that I recommended..The restaurant in there nice staffs cozy and warmth the food very fresh especially "Grilled King Salmon" all them so yummy ..if anyone looking for the place to hang out and delicious comes by and eat.. I love it. ”
“ Very good food. Soup of the day, creamy asparagus and parsnip, was Excellent. Burrata salad was not only delicious but beautifully plated. The Elk and bison tenderloin were both very good. The beef hamburger Was also very good. Served with good fries. Blood orange creme brulee was beautiful and delicious. Our waiter was superb! ”
“ Ok first things first, THE CARROT CAKE. The food here truly is spectacular. The elk tartare is an elevated culinary experience with all the flavors pairing together so well. Service is very proper and professional. However if you’re looking for the ostentatious “Jackson hole” ambiance, look elsewhere. But who cares about atmosphere with food this good? Seriously though, this is the greatest carrot cake I’ve ever had in my LIFE. ”
“ I came here with my brother our first night in Jackson and we were really impressed. We had a reservation but it took a few minutes to noticed & get seated as there was a large party of guys waiting on a table, but after we sat down it was an excellent experience. I had the elk tenderloin and he the pork chop, both were amazing. He got the carrot cake for dessert which he loved, I got the flourless chocolate but was not into as much. The whipped cream had an almond extract flavor, which was a little over powering, I probably would just split the carrot cake next time. Wayne was a great server and all in all will be back next time I have guests in town! ”
